Briskeby Mosque is located in a small park at
Briskeby in Oslo. The mosque consists of a
prayer room with associated functions, a library,
an office, common rooms for different needs and
a room for the ritual washing of the deceased.
The building is constructed in steel and brick
and the distinctive cylindrical construction helps
create different spaces in the otherwise
rectangular and open plan. The main circulation
system within the building consists of two ramps
leading up to the prayer room.
